HOURS & COST
The Bridge and Gardens are always open, and there is never an admission charge. However, the Bridge is sustained by donations. There are three boxes situated at the Bridge. We appreciate your gifts that keep our flowers growing.
ACCESSIBILITY
Most of the 30 gardens are wheelchair accessible, and the pathways are primarily continuous, smooth and easy to navigate. Wi-Fi is available and guests can take an audio and sensory cell phone tour by calling 828-436-1621. The Bridge is dog friendly! As long as your dogs are on a leash and social around other pets and people, they are welcome. Disposal bags are supplied, so please be considerate and pick up after your pet. There are several water bowls on the Bridge.
TOURS
Did you know you can schedule a private tour with us? We’d love to show your garden or photography club, church or retirement community or other groups of any size, the beauty of the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge. Tours are hosted by one or more of our volunteers and are always free. Contact us to schedule a tour, or for more information.
DIRECTIONS & PARKING
The Bridge is located at the west end of Lake Lure on the corner of Memorial Highway and Boys Camp Road. Our address is 3070 Memorial Highway, Lake Lure, NC 28746. There is free parking at the Bridge and at the Lake Lure Welcome Center nearby. However, on weekends and holidays parking may be limited.
RAINBOW BRIDGE
Since its installation in the Spring of 2022, our Rainbow Bridge has become one of our most popular features. Pet owners may leave a collar or tag as a tribute to a pet who has passed away. Other items such as pet clothing or toys, leashes and harnesses, laminated photos, or treats take up too much of the limited space on the Rainbow Bridge and will have to be removed. Our goal is to provide a peaceful environment for grieving pet owners now and in the future.
